Hawaii Issues Hurricane Insurance Data Call Worksheet

Hawaii Issues Hurricane Insurance Data Call Worksheet

The Hawaii Insurance Commissioner has issued MEMORANDUM 2019 3R requiring that any insurer writing residential hurricane coverage in Hawaii at any time in the last fifteen years (i.e., since 2004) complete and submit a data call worksheet to the Insurance Division, Rate and Policy Analysis Branch. Hawaii hurricane experience is not segregated in statutory financial information submitted by insurers and the Commissioner is seeking to capture Hawaii-specific information on residential hurricane coverage through this separate data call. The requested information is due by August 30, 2019.

Submit your completed data call worksheet by email to: rpadatacall@dcca.hawaii.gov or by mail to: State of Hawai'i, Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Insurance Division, 335 Merchant Street, Room 213, Honolulu, Hawai'i, 96813. Please direct any questions to Kathleen Nakasone, Insurance Rate and Policy Analysis Manager, at (808) 586-2790.
