AAIS implements electronic distribution
of product bulletins and attachments

AAIS is moving to all-electronic distribution of its product bulletins. Paper bulletins, without attachments, will continue to be mailed to AAIS members companies through the end of 2003, but paper bulletin mailings will cease as of Jan. 1, 2004.

To ensure that affiliates receive bulletins properly, AAIS needs to confirm or correct our contact information. Persons who are addressees for AAIS paper bulletin mailings need to return the response form they received with a Sep. 5 letter. (The form was only sent to current bulletin recipients.)

If there is no change to the information on your form, please check the box indicating so. If the information is inaccurate or out of date, please print the correct information clearly. Then fax the form to 630/681-8356 or mail it in the business reply envelope provided.

If you receive AAIS bulletins but do not have the response form that was mailed to you, contact Pat Peters, membership services coordinator, at patp@AAISonline.com or by calling 800/564-AAIS, x289.

For AAISdirect users

For companies that subscribe to the AAISdirect Internet service, all bulletins and attached documents they are entitled to receive can be accessed by signing on to www.AAISdirect.com. (A password issued by your company is required.) They will be notified by e-mail when new bulletins are issued for lines and states for which they are affiliated with AAIS.

AAISdirect provides access to all forms, manuals, bulletins, educational materials, and other information a company is entitled to receive from AAIS. Documents are available in both Microsoft® Word and PDF format, and the service utilizes internal links and advanced search features to help users find what they need quickly.

For companies that
don't use AAISdirect

For AAIS companies that do not subscribe to AAISdirect, all bulletins they are entitled to receive, plus attachments, will be made available in PDF format in a password-protected "electronic file cabinet" AAIS has created for each company on its AAISdirect Web site. This new service takes effect with bulletins issued after Oct. 1, 2003.

Companies that do not use AAISdirect will receive e-mail messages informing them that bulletins have been placed in their file cabinets. Those e-mails will include a sign-on name and password a company can use to access its file cabinet.

If you cannot locate your sign-on name or password, please send an e-mail message from your company e-mail location to info@AAISonline.com. Give your name, your company name, and your office location.

Your sign-on name and password will be e-mailed back to you. If you have multiple accounts (for multiple companies in a group), you may get multiple sign-on names and passwords. Once you have your sign-on name and password, you can access your company's file cabinet from any computer with Internet access.

Bulletins and attachments will be accessible in the file cabinet for six months after the date they are issued. During that time, companies can download them to their own computers.
