WHEATON, Ill., June 29, 2005—The American
Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) has added new features to its AAISdirect
Internet service for insurers.
AAIS is a national insurance advisory organization
that develops policy forms and rating information used by more than 600
property/casualty companies throughout the U.S. The organization
maintains programs and provides support services for more than 20 lines
of personal, commercial, farm, and inland marine insurance.
Insurers that use AAIS programs can access forms,
manuals, program bulletins, and other information through AAISdirect.
The service recently added several new features, including:

Advisory information, such as sample
declarations and other nonfiled forms;

Status reports on countrywide filing
activity; and
-
General information on AAIS products,
services, and membership
The new features are added to the estimated 7,200
forms, 2,000 manuals, 6,000 bulletins, 2,500 pages of the Inland
Marine Guide and other information available on AAISdirect.
