WHEATON, Ill., May 25, 2005—Three organizations
have signed up as the newest associate members of the American
Association of Insurance Services (AAIS), a national advisory
organization that develops policy forms and rating information used by
more than 600 property/casualty companies.
In all, 11 organizations have signed up to be AAIS
associate members since the associate membership program was launched
in January. The three newest associate members are:
-
ECCA, a computer service bureau and systems
developer based in Erie, Pa.;
-
Mutual Boiler Re, an equipment breakdown
reinsurer based in Malvern, Pa. and
-
Travelers Boiler Re, an equipment breakdown
reinsurer based in Hartford, Conn.
As associate members, organizations that support
AAIS member companies can access AAIS product information--including
policy forms, manuals, bulletins, and educational materials--through
the AAISdirect Internet service.
In addition, associate members can participate in
AAIS Web-based seminars restricted to members and associate members.
These seminars feature AAIS staff specialists addressing new product
developments and emerging industry issues.
Also, AAIS associate members are given
opportunities to promote their services through AAIS press releases, Viewpoint
magazine, the AAIS Annual Conference, and the AAIS Advisory
e-mail newsletter.
For information on becoming an AAIS associate
member, contact Rick Maka, director of marketing, at rickm@AAISonline.com
