WHEATON, Ill., Jan. 24, 2005—Personal lines
underwriters who work with programs developed by the American
Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) can attend a newly-developed
"AAIS Personal Lines Underwriting Academy."
The Academy, presented by Gray Wolf Insurance
Seminars, LaVale, Md., runs Feb. 7-11 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Registration

The Academy provides detailed explanations of
forms and manuals for the following AAIS programs: Homeowners,
Farmowners, Dwelling Properties, Landlord's Package, Personal and
Premises Liability, Personal and Farm Umbrella, and Personal Inland
Marine. There will also be references to relevant ACORD forms.
The program is taught by Fred Macy, senior
instructor for Gray Wolf and an independent trainer who has taught
property/casualty courses since 1977 and AAIS-specific courses since
1996. He holds designations as a Chartered Property Casualty
Underwriter, Associate in Underwriting, and Accredited Adviser in
Insurance.
Macy will be joined by James Kloth, vice president
of First Associated Insurance Agencies, Inc. Brookfield, Wis. Kloth is
a Certified Insurance Counselor.
"We know of no other independent educational
program that provides such extensive information on AAIS programs in a
classroom format," says Joyce Tignino, AAIS vice president of
marketing and industry relations.
AAIS is a national insurance advisory organization
