INLAND MARINE AND OUTPUT PROGRAMS

Commercial Inland Marine

Along with the Inland Marine Guide, the AAIS Commercial Inland Marine Program (for filed classes) gives you the most comprehensive collection of commercial inland marine products and advisory materials in the industry.

Companies that use the Inland Marine Guide will find the format and language of the forms in the filed inland marine program to be consistent with that found in the Guide classes. Like the Guide forms, the filed inland marine forms have common inland marine conditions built in, simplifying the task of packaging them with AAIS or non-AAIS forms, while also allowing them to be written as stand-alone policies.

The AAIS Commercial Inland Marine Program features standard filed classes:

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Camera and Musical Instrument Dealers

  • Floor Plan Merchandise

  • Jewelry Dealers

  • Mobile Equipment Dealers
    (formerly Implement Dealers)

  • Musical Instruments

  • Negative Film

  • Photographic Equipment

  • Physicians and Dentists Equipment

  • Signs

  • Theatrical Property

  • Valuable Papers and Records

Personal Filed Inland Marine

  • Provides a wide range of personal "floaters" that allow carriers to write specific insurance for valuable personal property

  • Forms can be written as monoline policies or packaged with other personal lines forms

  • Includes forms, rules, and rating information for 12 personal classes:

Farm Inland Marine

In 2007, AAIS introduced a new Farm Inland Marine Program for use with AAIS or independent insurance programs for farm and agricultural accounts.

This programs includes updated Farm Machinery and Livestock forms and rating information previously provided under the AAIS Personal Inland Marine Program, but also introduced forms and rating information for a newly developed Farm Irrigation Equipment class.

While the language in the Farm Inland Marine forms address both family farms and commercial farming ventures, the farm program's policy terms and conditions are patterned primarily after those used in commercial lines.
