AAIS
Watercraft Programs

Under the new AAIS Yacht Program and the existing AAIS Boatowners Program, insurers can write streamlined property and/or liability coverage on eligible watercraft, either as a stand-alone policy or as an endorsement to a personal lines policy.

Each of these two programs is available for no additional charge to companies with paid affiliations for either one of them. Boatowners affiliates can have access to the Yacht Program, and vice versa.

In addition, the Boat and Outboard Motor class under the AAIS Personal Inland Marine Program (PIM) provides forms and rating information for writing property and limited liability coverage for small craft such as canoes, kayaks, rowboats, and boats designed to propelled by outboard motors, as well as the motors themselves.

Pam NAll of these programs were principally developed from existing bases by Pam Nykaza, AAIS senior product development specialist for inland marine.

You can hear Pam's comments in a web presentation and a series of audio files by clicking on the links below.

For information on affiliating with AAIS for use of its watercraft programs, contact Rick Maka, director of marketing and strategic alliances, at rickm@AAISonline.com, or by calling 800-564-AAIS, ext. 222.
