Revised and expanded
to meet today's needs
Over the years, AAIS has provided its
affiliates with a free annual guide to state filing
requirements. In 2007, this resource was revised and renamed the
AAIS Compliance Guide to reflect the expanded scope of
information provided in it.
Companies not affiliated with AAIS can now
purchase an electronic file of the Compliance Guide for
$400 by contacting Rick Maka, director of marketing, at
rickm@AAISonline.com,
or by calling 800-564-AAIS.
The guide's 600 pages, neatly organized into
11 sections with sub-sections, provides comprehensive
information in easy-to-read formats on a wide range of
regulations affecting property/casualty forms, rates, and
related product materials.
Among other things, the Compliance Guide
provides an authoritative single source of filing information
for inland marine insurance. It also includes a sub-section on
"Applications, Binders, and Certificates of Insurance" that
includes information provided courtesy of ACORD, Inc., an
organization devoted to standardizing agency forms and
agency-company data transmission.
The contents of the Compliance Guide
includes the following:
