An upcoming educational program of the Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA) will include references to Motor Truck Cargo and Warehouse Legal Liability forms provided in the AAIS Inland Marine Guide.
The program is entitled "Intermediate Transportation with a Broker Perspective." Led by transportation insurance experts Frank Oleskiewicz, vice president, General Star Insurance, and Robert Kirkwood, president of Kirkwood Insurance, the program will run 10 a.m.-4:45 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the IMUA office at 14 Wall Street in New York City. Both onsite and remote registrations are available.
The course content is designed for individuals who already understand the fundamentals of transportation underwriting, and will concentrate on key issues and analysis to support more advanced underwriting. Frank Oleskiewicz says that participants in past sessions have asked about AAIS policy provisions, in addition to those of other forms providers.
AAIS Advisory notices are posted periodically to announce AAIS product developments, and to provide news items that are relevant to our program users. Advisory notices are news summaries that paraphrase documents which should be consulted directly for complete, authoritative information.
