Connecticut DOI to Participate in NAIC's MCAS System

In bulletin MC-22, the Connecticut Insurance Department notifies insurers writing at least $50,000 of gross premiums for personal automobile and homeowner's insurance policies of the state's upcoming participation in the NAIC’s Market Conduct Annual Statement system. Insurers should expect to receive from the NAIC, in December, a data call letter that will give personal lines insurers instructions on how to file 2016 MCAS data by the April 30, 2017 deadline.
